About the Artists:

Jean Lind has reinvented herself as an artist of assemblages after retiring from teaching English for many years.  Her life-long interests and passions of folk art, different cultures, gardens, hiking, vintage fabrics, and recycled/found oddities all merge to form her unique artwork that displays simple exaggerated shapes.  Her love of words and symbolism help profile her pieces that are often inspired by Giacometti’s sculptures and her grandchildren’s art.

Karin Medall was born in Sweden, but is presently living in Madison, Wisconsin.  Karin’s painting are created in her garden, with the intention of sharing the process of healing energy and constant movement.  Her expression and awareness of the beauty this world has to offer comes in the form of her art that displays her ideals of living life deeply with passion, compassion, and gusto.  Her work has been represented by the Temecula Art Gallery of California and continues to be sold through private collections in both the United States and Sweden.
