From October 8, 2012 through October 26, 2012, Yahara Bay Distillery/Gallery will be displaying to the public, a one of a kind, never before seen art showcase and sale featuring original signed works from celebrity artists such as Anthony Quinn, Tony Curtis, and Red Skelton. Also displayed will be numbered prints from Picasso, Dahli, Remington, and Chagall. This week long event coincides with the 5th Anniversary of the Madison-based Artisanal Distillery and is a unique and rare way to help celebrate this milestone and the art behind their craft.
The showcase is a rare and private collection from a gentleman named Willam Torrison, who has collected these pieces directly from the artists themselves over 30 years and during his various adventures traveling the world. Whether it was having nautical adventures with Jacques Cousteau’s son or making an annual pilgrimage to Hawaii for Red Skelton’s birthday party, Mr. Torrison has lived an amazing life and his stories about how he came to collect these works of art never fail to amaze and entertain.
Everyone at Yahara Bay thanks Mr. Torrison for his willingness to let the world see his rare and unique collection for the company’s big anniversary celebration. The artwork will be on display and for sale for the public starting on Monday, October 22, 2012 through October 26, 2012 from 5-9 pm, with an anniversary celebration party/gallery night exclusive occurring on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 5-10 pm with a meet and greet with the collector.
