Marketing Intern at Yahara Bay Distillers
Hey there, social media wizards and booze enthusiasts! Yahara Bay Distillers is on the hunt for a laid-back, creative Marketing Intern to join our crew in Madison, WI. We’re a craft distillery with a chill vibe, and we’re looking for someone to help us spread the word and get our bottles into more hands.
What You’ll Be Doing
Social Media Content Creation: Whip up fun, eye-catching posts for our socials (think Instagram, TikTok, maybe even X). Show off our craft spirits, share behind-the-scenes distillery shenanigans, and get our fans hyped with creative campaigns. If you’ve got a knack for snappy captions or cool Reels, we wanna see it!
Retail Sampling: Hit the road (locally) to team up with our retail partners and set up product sampling events. You’ll be pouring tastes, chatting up customers, and spreading the Yahara Bay love at liquor stores and bars. Bonus points if you can make sipping whiskey or gin feel like a party!
What We’re Looking For
You’re into social media and know how to make content that pops (bonus if you’ve got a strong meme game).
You’re chill, outgoing, and can talk to anyone about our spirits without sounding like a sales pitch.
Gotta be 21+ (because, ya know, booze).
A driver’s license for zipping around to sampling gigs.
Passion for craft spirits or the distillery scene is a big win, but we’ll teach you the ropes if you’re new to the game.
Bonus if you have bartending experience and know how to make anyone feel like they're the main character and it's their party!

Do you like working with your hands, learning new skills, and being part of something you can actually taste? Yahara Bay Distillers — one of Wisconsin’s original craft distilleries — is looking for a motivated, detail-driven team member to help with production, bottling, packaging, and shipping of our award-winning spirits. This is a great opportunity to get behind the scenes of the local craft beverage world and learn how high-quality spirits are made.
What You’ll Do
Help bottle, label, and package small-batch spirits
Keep production organized and on schedule
Work independently (and with a small, tight-knit crew)Assist with shipping and receiving
Take pride in making sure every bottle looks as good as it tastes
Who You Are
A fast learner who likes hands-on work
Organized and dependable — you like finishing what you start
Comfortable working solo or in a small group
Curious about the craft spirits industry and how it all comes together
Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stay on your feet during your shift
Requirements
High school diploma (some college or trade experience a plus)
Can follow written and verbal instructions
Solid basic math and measurement skills
Detail-oriented, focused, and reliable
